About the PVA
It is a pleasure to serve as the Montgomery County Property Valuation Administrator. My employment with the PVA Office began in 1985 as a general deputy and in 1991 was promoted to chief deputy. I was appointed as the PVA in July 2004 and then elected in November 2004.

I have completed the educational requirements to receive the Certified Kentucky Assessor designation (CKA) in November 1991 and the Senior Kentucky Assessor designation in September 2000. My staff and I participate in continuing education courses sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Revenue in order to maintain the professionalism and accountability required by this office. I am a member of the Kentucky Chapter of International Association of Assessing Officers, the Chamber of Commerce and the Camargo United Methodist Church.

We are continually working to improve the Montgomery County PVA Office to better serve the people of Montgomery County. We are working with E-911 and other county agencies to bring a Geographical Information System (GIS) to our county. We have requested and received grants to improve the level of technology in the PVA Office. We have implemented a website to assist you in understanding the functions of the PVA Office and also to provide a service to handle the increasing number of requests for information from bankers, appraisers and property owners.

Montgomery County is a great place to live and work. We enjoy serving you and encourage you to stop by if we can be of any assistance to you.
